Even though a few years ago many end customers in Ukraine preferred their technical and other documentation in Russian, we have always delivered translations in Ukrainian to many companies. In recent years, the number of translations into Ukrainian has steadily increased and since 2022, Ukrainian will probably finally replace Russian. Your Ukrainian translators
Not all Europeans know this: every Ukrainian can speak perfect Russian, but not every Ukrainian can speak perfect Ukrainian, Ukrainian being the official language of the country. Why and how - is a different and special topic.Also interesting: about 40% of all translators at Ruscom who carry out translations into Russian are actually Ukrainian and Russian native speakers at the same time. Of course, they can do translations into Ukrainian just as well.
All the Ukrainian translators we employ are qualified linguists and have several years' experience as translators and proofreaders. For some translation projects, we also use other native-speaking specialists such as engineers or doctors with good foreign language skills to double-check the specialist terminology.
Specialisation is our secret
Specialisation is one of our strengths. With a large number of employed as well as freelance translators, we can afford to use only certain specialists for their favourite subjects, in which they are particularly well versed. This means that in our translation agency, the same translators do not translate operating manuals for mechanical engineering, sales contracts and safety data sheets for chemical products. That is already done by three different people.All translations are carried out using CAT tools, usually SDL Trados, memoQ and Across.
Every German - Ukrainian and English - Ukrainian translation is proofread by a proofreader in our office, at no extra charge. This is part of our service and you will hardly find this service for free anywhere else.
